Terms of use

Last updated 14 September 2026

1. Agreement

pillarrecovers.com is run by Pillar Tech Inc. (“Pillar”, “we”), Chicago, Illinois, United States. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What this site is

The site describes Pillar, a platform we are building, and how we intend it to work with data protection platforms such as Veeam, Rubrik and Commvault and with OneTrust. Pillar is pre-launch: we are working with design partners now, with general availability planned for 2027.

Nothing on the site is an offer to sell software or services, and descriptions of features are of work in progress that may change or not ship. Where we describe a third party’s product, we describe our reading of its public documentation, not a commitment on its behalf.

3. Early access and design partnership

Submitting the early access form is a request, not a contract. We decide whom to work with, and any pilot, design partnership, letter of intent or purchase is set out in a separate written agreement between us. Until then, nothing on this site obliges either of us.

4. Using the site

You may read the site and share links to it. You may not scrape it at scale, probe or overload it, submit false or automated entries through its forms, or use it for anything unlawful.

5. Ownership

The text, graphics, films and code on the site belong to Pillar Tech Inc. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. The Pillar name and mark are ours.

Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, OneTrust, Cohesity, Dell, Druva and other product names are trademarks of their owners. Pillar is independent: none of them sponsors or endorses us, and naming them describes compatibility we are building, not a partnership, unless we say so.

7. Figures and claims

Research findings on the site are paraphrased from published studies and credited by kind, year and sample size; the full citations are kept on file and are available on request. Product claims describe software under development, and we make no representation about the results you will get.

8. No warranty

The site is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Pillar is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are brought in the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights your local law gives you that cannot be waived.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
